Jennifer Cudjoe is an activist, a type C Licensed US Soccer Coach, and a Ghanaian Professional Football Player with international recognition.

Jennifer Cudjoe currently plays as a midfielder for NJ/NY Gotham FC, the skyblue Football Club in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).

She made her international debut with Ghana under 17 and the Under 20 national team in the women's world cup.

Jennifer Cudjoe was selected by Racing Louisville FC in the 2020 NWSL Expansion Draft but rejoined Sky Blue in a trade.

Award Winning Ghanaian and US-based female Footballer, Jennifer Cudjoe, has started embarking on her community projects to help and mentor brilliant and talented female footballers in Ghana.

With the effort to reach out to these talents in all regions, she began with a reputable and fast-rising female division one team, Jonina Football Academy.

Jennifer Cudjoe donated some football commodities to Jonina Ladies FC to support their football career. In collaboration with the team and its management, the 'Jennifer Cudjoe Xmas Fun Fair' was organized for the footballers'.

This was organized to create platforms for the footballers to showcase their talents. Jonina Ladies FC does not only groom the footballers to be the best in that aspect but also supports their field of interest with academics and vocational skills.

So far, Jonina Ladies FC has professional Barbers, Hairstylists, Singers, Pencil Artists, Electricians, Dancers, Football Skills and Shooting, Graphic and cloth Designers, and many more.

Jennifer Cudjoe after discovering these young talents in the female football fraternity decided to be their mentor and provide them with the necessary football commodities to build their football life.

The program was held at Dwhenya on the 25th of December 2022. A zoom meeting was held for the footballers and each player had an encounter with Jennifer Cudjoe for advice, clarity, and inspiration.

JONINA LADIES FC EMERGES WINNER OF MOON PHARMA SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP 2ND EDITION

Jonina Ladies FC has emerged the winner of the second edition of the Moon Pharma Soccer Championship.

The tournament was held on Friday, 19th August 2022 at the Madina Astro Turf. Moon Pharma Soccer Championship was sponsored by a pharmaceutical company, Moon Pharma Ghana Limited, Radian Sinco, and Joy4fame Instant Honey Ginger Mix. This was the second edition after the first one was held at Kibi in the Eastern Part of Ghana.

The competition involved eight different teams including, Blessed Ladies FC, Zaafi Ladies FC, Rock Ladies FC, Jonina Ladies FC, Christ Angels Ladies FC, Ningo Ladies FC, Nimobi Ladies FC, and Ideal Ladies FC.

After competitive matches were scheduled, Ideal Ladies FC and Jonina Ladies FC ended up in the finals. The two teams had skillful, strong, and intelligent players. However, Jonina Ladies FC concentrated on beating their own records and won the game with three goals to one.

Jonina Ladies FC is a new team that bases in Dawhenya. They participated in last season's Greater Accra Women Division One League and secured third place. In the tournament, the team was captained by their senior striker, Eunice Kpentey, and had the best goal of the tournament from Sandra Atinga.

Jonina Ladies' FC senior player, Thelma Baffour, was given the Best Player and Jemila Sa-eed was also awarded female discovery of the year.

The overall winner of the tournament, Jonina Ladies FC, took the trophy, medals, and balls as their award for the talent and hard work exhibited. The organizing Director, Mr. John Obiri Yeboah spoke to the various teams and advised the up-and-coming football talents to do their best and their efforts will pay off in the football fraternity.

 Women's Football has been heightened with much respect, effort, talents, and importance over these past few years. There have been different individuals, female genders specifically of all ages, Showcasing their skills in football and giving out their best to make it in the football fraternity.

Some women have considered it their lifetime profession due to the passion they have for football. As such, Ghana has produced quality players who have had great recognition worldwide due to their skills in football.  An example of such a player is Valued Girl's FC's Former player, Nina Norshie, who took Black Queens to a higher height with her Defensive Mid fielding abilities.

Eunice Kpentey is a Defender, a striker, and also a Mid - Fielder.  She is a professional footballer and has been playing for seven years now from the age of 14. Eunice started her football career at Valued Girls FC and has been on the team to date. She was a colleague to Nina Norshie and engaged in different football competitions together for their mother club.

Eunice Kpentey was born in the Greater Accra Region on 16th December 2001, to Mr. Boinartey Kpentey and Mrs. Gifty Martey of Blessed Family.

She hails from Big Ada in the Volta Region of Ghana and stands at 1.64m. Regarding her educational background, Eunice Kpentey began her basic education at Dodi- Adjade, D.A primary school in 2011, Middle school at Adom preparatory school, and Tapa-Abotoase in 2014, and attained her secondary education at Nana Twumasi Boateng Secondary Technical School.

Some achievements of Eunice Kpentey as a professional footballer, include the following: 

1- In 2013, as a member of the Biakoye (zone C ) District team, she helped her Zonal Team, to win the first position in the Under '15' girls soccer competition in the Volta Region.

2-  1n 2013. she won the Goal Queen Medal for scoring 7 goals in the Under '15' girls soccer tournament in the Volta Region.

3- In 2016, She won the First position in the 800m event and Third position in the 200m event for Nana Twumasi Boateng Secondary Technical School during the annual zone 3 Athletics competition.

4- In 2017, she won the goal queen medal with a cash price of Thousand Ghana Cedis for scoring 8 goals in the Third Edition of the GT Bank Super zonal soccer championship.

5- In 2017, she was awarded the Goal Queen for scoring 6 goals in the National Senior High sports festival on Cape coast.

6- In 2017,  She had a call up to join Ghana's Under 17 National Team called the Black Princesses.

7- She also had the chance to be part of the team that played the National sports festival at Kumasi.

8- She participated in the Bundesliga football school tournament in 2019.

9- She was given the opportunity to play for one of Nigeria's Premier Team, Edo Queens in Edo state for one season.

10- She also had the chance to play for Berry Ladies FC, a premier team in Ghana for one season, and afterward, returned to her mother club, Valued Girls FC.

Valued Ladies F.C of the Eastern Region has been tagged potential qualifiers to Women's Premier League.

As the Regional Women's Zonal Championship comes to an end, some teams have been considered the predicted qualifiers to the Wome's Premier League. This data was well analyzed by thetrendsghana.com, considering the statistics drawn from the all the four matches played.

As part of the two teams to qualify for the Women's Premier League, Valued Ladies F.C is a predicted qualifier to grab a slot in the Women's Premier League. GFA: Valued Ladies Seek Maximum Support To Qualify To The Women's Premiere League

Valued Ladies, known for their slogan as "One Spirit", has been in all trends following their unique efforts in getting to the finals of the Regional Women's Zonal Championship.

They were selected to represent the Eastern Region in this competition after they emerged winners at the Eastern Region Women Division One League. Valued Ladies have beat all odds to get their wins following a good match with their opponents.

They were set to compete with five strong women's football clubs including Army Ladies, Anlo Ladies, Faith Ladies, Basake Royals, and Essiam Socrates. So far in the game, Valued Ladies have won three of the already four played matches and have been placed in the second position.

Per the recorded scores and points by GFA, Valued Ladies are to compete with Essiam Soccrates in their last match to qualify to the Women's Premier League. Hene, a win or draw is expected of them to book the qualification ticket to the next level.

There has been an "Operation Help Valued Girls To Qualify At All Cost" Agenda set in the media houses and on the internet, to help push these skillful and talented female footballers to the top. So far in all the football records, this is the first time Eastern Region has gotten a slot in the Zonal Championship to fight their way through to the next level.

It has not been an easy journey for these girls considering all the allegations and untrue cases raised against them just to them out of their successful path. However, they have been able to give off their best shot to get to the final stage of the Zonal Championship.

Due to this. they call on all the great personalities, the natives, Ministers and Members of Parliaments in the Eastern Region, and other organizations to back Valued Girls with the needed physical, social and financial support to help them Qualify to the Women's Premier League.

The finals of the Zonal Championship would be held at La McDan AstroTurf at Labadi, starting at exactly 3pm.
